No change there then.

Interesting - that's quite a loop.
Not sure how some of the middle section links up, but shortest route would be 250+miles.
I guess that confirms Monday evening isn't party-night

Remember, when it comes to volunteering, everyone else taking two steps back is the functional equivalent of you taking two steps forward.

If I learned nothing else in 20+ years of military service, I learned that. :D

Our route on Tuesday is quite a long, but if it gets too heavy, we can always cut it shorter.. #-o

I think a good compromise might be:
Serfaus - Silvretta - Furkajoch - Hochtannberg - Arlberg - Serfaus
This is 186 miles, including riding up to the Stausee Dam before the toll for entering the Silvretta.

This way Monday night may be a party night!
So I'll put this in my Zumo as well... 8)

Don't give the game away Chris - the Finns will still be in bed sleeping off their hangovers even if they only get a whiff on limoncello on Monday night, so they won't have a clue whether we've done the whole route or not!

And if it looks like it might rain even slightly at any time during the day, they'll stay in the hotel anyway. (Grossglockner)

Except.... that lady who rode back from Nice over the Bonette at night and in a thunderstorm. I remember her first words on arriving "I've never been so wet in my life" was greeted with 20 Finns going "fnaar fnaar". That was an impressive bit of riding. Wasn't she relatively new to biking as well?

Hi Karza

Just mapping the routes - does yours do Furkajoch East to West or West to East?

Cheers

Hi Guys and Gals.

I've got a group of Bikers booked in here for that week now so I won't be able to get across.

Sorry about that. Hopefully I can be better organised next year.
