first major snow this season.... been a bit parky in Austria too.

Is that something they learned from Lucas........ "the Prince of darkness"?

When I had my '69 Triumph I always carried a spare zenor diode, just in case, and got to use it many times.

Its only less than 5 months and we will be there once again!!! =D> ..that place has something magic....sometimes its nitemare to ride the road up there and sometimes it feels also like a hard work...but once you get there on top, you forget all those negative feelings and just enjoy the view ... :D :D ...and the wurst of course..... :wink:

Yes .. it is hard work to get up there , but it is part of our religion .
It is not unlike the pelgrims at Fatima , who crawl on their knees for kms and they don't even get The holy Wurst to consacrate..
( altough the candles probably taste better ..)

That is early. They normally push it just over the north side leaving that blocked. Snowfall last year was low and even then it didn't open fully until the last week in May although you could go up from the south or Umbrai Pass way before that.

Snowfall this year was really heavy and we are forecast a bit more next week as it stands so don't hold your breath. Although they may be trying to take advantage of Easter weekend as the weather has been glorious the last week or so out our way.
