I was thinking of something more in line with the link to the webcams.

The Monopol seems to have replaced theirs - the picture seems crisper and slightly re-aimed - but it could use a nice sun shade.

Just watched a report on BBC World on the expansion of Andermatt, certainly going to make the roads busier

I feel it was a special little place - despite being really well known, but soon it will be like any other sell-out ski-resort. There will be little or no reason for me to stay there again, I'll have to find another "secret" place.

I agree completely. even though it was well known and has been a tourist spot for decades, it still had that unspoiled small-town feel to it.

And just as the Wenger family was starting to recognize me, too.

It would seem that Andermatt is not the only spot on the map undergoing ugly new construction.
