Enroute to the IBA party in Florida and stopped for the night. 500 miles down today and another 250 tomorrow. I was going to do it in one shot, but half way through South Carolina the NEXRAD showed a significant patch of wet heading for the Interstate, so I decided to call it a day and stay dry.

I'm getting soft in my old age :oops:

But I DO like having near real time weather radar on the bike

Yeah - that pretty much sums up how I feel about it.

But, I was stopping to feed the bike and myself anyway...

About 50 liters of petrol through the old injectors today. Glad that I'm not paying European prices for it. It's bad enough at US prices. (presently about 0.65 Euro/liter)

Don't be too jealous gents. After all, he's going to Florida, where the highest elevation is a whopping 105M above sea level, and the only things he'll encounter on the roads to get his heart beating faster are a wash of sand in one of the 27 bends on Florida's highways, or some blue haired grandmother with coke bottle glasses trying to see over her steering wheel.

Great visit with Michael last night. The dogs didn't eat him, the cat slept with him, and I still have 1 or 2 beers left over. Sent him out the door this morning, headed for the coast. Ride safe!
