6th Alpineroads.com-meet 2012 "Silvretta"

Events and "things to do" you think might be of interest. Biker rallies, races, or more general interest. Not exclusively biker-related.

Hotel Regina is sold out for Alpineroads.com-meet days in July, 9th-12th, but in the next door in hotel Bernadette theres still rooms available for AR-meet. Both owners are same family...booking for both hotels in Regina.

Well peeps, I am really really sorry, but despite it being so close I will not be able to come this year.
A combination of unexpected event clashes and finances means that it is just impossible for me to be there. :(

I hope to see you all next year if it is at all possible.

#-o That's a real bummer Tim, sorry you can't be there.

Karza; is it too late to relocate AR2012 to Linz ?

That's a shame, Tim. It means you too have reached the age where you can do only one thing at a time

Tim, so sorry you can't make it this year. I hope the financial constraints are only short term.

There will now be more room in my luggage without that tin of custard powder I was going to bring for you

I wasn't there for the very first one in Livigno. But since then... cheers! And to be honest, it's mostly all Karza's work really. =D> =D>
It's also - I think - only the second time I've not had an Alps bike trip in nearly 20 years.

I can still remember the sheer amazement on almost everyone's part at just how many people actually showed up for what was, in essence, an open invitation by Karza to drop in and say "Hi" and have a beer if one was in the area. Including one gentleman from Australia (whose name I forget  ).

Austria, I'd expect, but Australia???

Karza provides an almost embarrassing level of organization that allows us to come together physically, and Tim & Martin provide the venue for us all to get together virtually.

My helmet's off to all of you!

Damn, sorry to hear that time, next year it will be!

I purchased airline tickets yesterday, arrive in Frankfurt on 6/10 and depart on 7/31. I'm getting excited!
With over two week between my arrival and AR 2012 I need to come up with a ride plan for that period, somewhere other then the ALPS. After AR2012 I'll hang out with Karza and his group till the races at Bryno.
Soooo, any thoughts on where I should go, my X-wife would ALWAY tell me where to go, now it's your turn.
