6th Alpineroads.com-meet 2012 "Silvretta"

Events and "things to do" you think might be of interest. Biker rallies, races, or more general interest. Not exclusively biker-related.

My holiday British Pound may buy a few more Euros, meanwhile the value of my pension funds goes further down the toilet as markets crash - not a good trade-off.

As you say the Pound is not immune to the turmoil in the Euro-zone, anything could happen between now and AR 2012, even the "experts" can't agree about what should or could happen. and I don't think the problems will be over for a long time yet.

Tell me about it. At least if you're young, you have the opportunity to buy cheaply :D

But for those of us on the other side of the equation

I'm wishing that my accounts were in CHF

Yeah, would be great to meet you Dubai guys. IF you cant reach AR-meet in Serfaus, its still possible to meet us, my Finnish group will stay the next days 12th-15th July, Thursday-Sunday, in Livigno and http://www.hotelmontanina.it , not far from Serfaus. Could be possible to meet for example on top of Stelvio..

I've finally got round to trying to plan my route following on from AR2012 on Thursday/Friday/Saturday but it's occurred to me that I don't know which passes we will go to together on Tuesday/Wednesday.

So, can anyone give me a clue which passes they are hoping to cover during the meet?
ISTR mention of Stelvio and the name of the meet suggests Silvretta for starters!

Looking forward to riding with everyone again!

Hi Kris,
I've assumed we'll be riding the Silvrettastrasse one day with the AR Group, and for the other day I've designed a loop to take in the Hahntennjoch, Namlos, Fern, and ending with a ride up the Kaunertal road in the afternoon(159 miles). I've also got a back-up loop taking in the Timmelsjoch (166 miles) *just in case.
