Utterly superb. Klaus the owner is a rider and will if possible lead rideouts, good local route maps available.

Been there a long time ago once, not so biker-friendly prices. But nice place. :) In Nauders, not so far from Landeck, nearer the Stelvio: www.landhaus-engadin.at  Cosy bikerpension, nice biker-prices. Recommended. :D

Well if you are looking for very reasonable accomodations in that area, take the short 15 km drive down the road to the turnoff to Serfaus.

Serfaus is high above the valley offering great views and tranquillity. I've used it as a home base for rides as far as St. Moritz (Julier & Albula passes), etc.

I spent 7 nights in Haus Brigitte back in 2003 (at ?17 per night with a great breakfast) and another night this past June (now ?20). Note, the owner only takes multi-night bookings at those rates. Locked garage parking is included.

Haus Brigitte
Muirenweg 10
A-6534 Serfaus (Tirol)

Paula & Josef Hammerle (I only spoke German to them, so I don't know if they speak any other language)

Its on the east side of town. When you see a small white chapel, hang a left. They're building a hotel in front of the chapel at the moment, so the chapel might be out of view in a short while.
